I got all my receipts today (Mine and my wife receipts)...My case is
Received by J.Barrett at 10:25 AM at NSC, Case transferred to TSC on 08/05/2007 (Based on LUD). Notice Date is 09/04/2007.
My I-140 is from TSC. I know what I went through this whole 70 day process, but as the saying goes 'There is light at the end of the tunnel'.

Even I am waiting for my FP from TSC.
I was thinking , that maybe , because there are so many of us who have not received FP notices, should probably send a fax or e-mail to ombudsman as a group listing our receipt numbers or maybe just names and tell them the inconsistencies from their side in issuing the FP notices.
I have a good feeling that if the letter/email or fax goes as a group , then they may take some action.
Just a idea , any inputs would be appreciated.

Am in the same boat....485 submitted to NSC on July 2nd....140 pending in TSC. I called the Nebraska Service center at 1-800-375-5283, option 1-2-2-6-2-2-1 and the agent escalated my call ...then was told that if my I-140 was in Texas then the 485 will be tranaferred there. Its taking 6-8 weeks for receipt notices. On asking if transferring will take longer...she said no....will not take longer.

All my checks got cashed today. I applied on July 23rd at NSC and got the receipt #'s from WAC.

Same situation here as well. June 26th was the date USCIS cashed my check, still no sign of any EAD..heck no LUD either except for an AP LUD, and I did not apply for AP renewal at all! Darn I need that EAD very soon...

My case little different, my 485 pending at Nebraska and I mailed EAD renewal at Texas (because I live in PA, per instructions in form).
Do you think my EAD will get stuck because of this? I hope I did right thing.

but if we take rental, dont they ask why u brought rental?
I took my car.Once you get landed immigrant status in canada, everything needs to be transferred with you. They asked me either transfer my car or take it back to USA right away.As I have my family with me, So I argued for a while but no success. So i went to the customs and let them fill up the paper work to get the car transferred.Also they dont let your personal car to list in the things to follow paperwork, if you are driving the same car.I came back to USA after two weeks. But the transfer procedure still require you to get clearance from the USA for which you have to give the 72 hour notice to some agency and then take the car.Also you need Manufacturing clearance recall letter(which can be done both in USA & Canada).
I did not pay canadian customs a fee which is 209 + tax, as I want to bring the car back to usa. You have 45 days to get all this things done , other wise You have to export the car back to USA. They told me to send the payment or they will send a reminder notice after 10 days, which to date i have not received yet.You have to buy insurance and change the odometer into Km and also headlights should remain on when you start your car. I dont know what gonna happen, but I will sell the car if I have to, and send them the sale receipt.By the way i entered from detriot, and everything went smoothly.

I thought of going back after getting citizenship, but that would be another 8-9 years at the least. I would miss the big ride in India. I got my EAD today...Even i received my EAD also...Mine is sent to NSC on july 2nd...I received EAD's from Texas Center...I think my application was transferred to Texas...I have approved I-140 from Texas...Are receipt numbers for EAD, 485, AP are in serial? I haven't received receipts yet...I filled G-28...my attorney did not receive my receipts...I don't know what is going on...

How can an EB dependent file in Family category ?
For any one (dependent ) to qualify for filing GC, they have to qualify under one of the categories either family or EB.
Family category:
Applicant has to have a relation with a GC holder or a citizen. When primary EB applicant itself is in AOS status ( not GC) how can a spouse file in Family category ?
2 conditions need to be met for spouse to apply
1. Primary should be having his greencard.
2. PD should be current for the spouse in family category.
Typically condition 1 won't be met for an EB dependent spouse, so USCIS process them under EB category.

But whatever is the exit strategy i will end up paying almost $10,000 as lawyer fees.

Here is one example. An actor may agree that he won't sign any other role until this movie is completed or 12 months from the agreement date.

yea...you are right...it seems they are not processing anything today..
Also i heard that on June 4 th approx 1100 485 apps was receipted. That makes it approx a total of 1800 for jun 1 and 4.
What is the source of the updates/information you have posted.
