Regarding "New Scenario - Seeking second opinion"
Couple of things to consider...
1) You need to be present in US at time of applying for the extension and when its approved. In your case I think with travel coming up in June, you probably need to go premium so you have approval in hand my April end. Regular processing takes about 2-3 months I think.
2) You can only go 90 days in advance of your new/extended approval as far as I know. So you need to see if that matches when you plan to go for stamping.
If in similar situation I would probably do what you are planning. It adds some anxiety with both wedding and consulate visit at same time, but once past that it will make life little easier.

Is it ok if I attend the consulate in neighbouring countries like mexico or bahamas instead of going to India?
If the Visa stamping has not been revoked, can I just cross the border for an I 94 card?
Any advice is valuable to me.

I was playing around with it again tonight - I posted a couple more examples in the gallery area, under "landscapes".
This is not a plugin, persay. It's a PaintShop Pro script - not PhotoShop. Here's what the script does:
Split to RGB, discard G & B
"Clarify" (twice) at a high value to deepen the contrast range.
Adjusts the luminance channel to further enhance contrast.
Colorizes the image with a hue value of 160 and saturation a low setting of 20 to slightly shift grays towards blues.
I then added the original full-color image in as a layer and merged the two with partial opacity in (I think) "hue" mode.
The Clarify operation gives it an "old" look by accentuating and muddling the contrast. The lumininance adjustment makes the overall appearance more 'harsh'. The shift towards blue tends to simulate a bit of fading (like an old snaphot, I guess).
The painting-like effect comes from merging in the colors from the original.
Here's the actual script file (it's in the "Python" programming language):

Correct - None is the answer! My law firm (Fragomen) didnt ask for them when they submitted my docs on JUly 2. Maybe they are needed if the USCIS comes back with an RFE.
I think if your case is pretty straight forward, there should be no problem without W2. What's the point to have it anyway? Some people do not even work for the petition employer since GC is for a future job. Right?

I am in the same situation currently.
My company's attorneys believe that mine is not an AC21 case because I am going from Software Engineer (per PERM) to Lead Software Engineer, with substantial pay hike.
They are sending me papers for H-1B amendment and extension only (extension because my H-1B will expire soon).
Why is there a need to invoke AC21 in your case? Is there substantial change in responsibilities?
I think there will have to AC21 invoked as there is change in the job location. Secondly I will be going from Senior Assurance Associate to Assurance Manager. There will be additional responsibilities from what I already have.

USCIS can pre-adjudicate a case, even when visa numbers are not available. This means that USCIS processes all the application, but just waits for a visa number to finalize it.
Pre-adjudication. That would be really good. According to latest processing times, NSC shows July 30th 2007 for 485. So does that mean that cases before that are either adjudicated/pre-adjudicated or atleast there is an RFE?
Is there any one who confirmed that their case is pre-adjudicated @ NSC. ?

I remember very clearly from last year that NOT having an A# on your approved I-140 is not a problem - Sheela Murthy was very clear about this on her calls for her clients. The 485 receipt though should have an A#.
FP is a different story. You have to get it done for 485 approval.

I am planning to take visa appointment in Chennai consulate for my 8th year H-1B extension and my wife's H-4. When i checked the vfs website yesterday, dates were open for last week of Sep'2006. Today it is already showing only dates in Nov'2006 as open dates. Howcome Oct'2006 dates never showed up. Were the appointments finished that fast for Oct'2006 ? Gary, I'm just thinking of mine which is a circular polarizer. You rotate the polarizer to achieve the desired amount of polarization. So I can rotate it one way and either darken or lighten the sky. All but your last pic looked as if it was darker on the right side which lead me to the assumption it was a circular type. There's a linear type too which I have never used so I'm not sure how it works, but I imagine it doesn't rotate (anyone?).
