I have an emergency to go to India to take care of my sickly mom and I need to return back to work on July first. I am also trying to get emergency appointment. I couldnt. Could you please suggest the way I can get emergency appointment in any of the consulate. It was a quite surprise to me. Almost more than a year EB3 did not move for more than a month all of a sudden it moved 2 years..

opening new threads like this is annoying, I see lots of useless thread around here which discourages me to come to IV that often. He is asking update from CORE like they owe him, he must have paid his attorney and should attorney in such way not here. Whenever core has something to share they do share, no doubts.

Let us start a thread to list of EB3 Immigrants that have done well in USA.
We always say Einstein or Noble prize winner names. But those people are EB2 or EB1. What about EB3 that is most backlogged. There will be lot of great people who came in this category. Let us find their names and list here.

What about the case wherein the GC is for a future employment with the same company? You may be currently on H1B with the company as an engineer, but the company applies GC as a manager because you qualify for EB2.

1. Today I read news wherein an organization of Indian Businessmen,Lawyers.Doctors are organizing fundraiser for Hilary Clinton. They are giving lot of money for her campaign. These people already have contacts with number of senators. They can help us in our cause at different level.
The Chairman of the organization in the news article Sant Singh Chatwal is a known hotilier in US.

or its a consultant?
Because I am on H1 with consultant, but not able to find projects for last 6 months, and have a offer for a full-time position with very small start-up company? Should I put my legs in this transfer process ? or should I wait untill USCIS gets soften?

Are those requested documents not part of standard documentation when we submit our 485 application.
My lawyer asked me to submit all the I-20s and H1B copies when we applied for 485 ....
Again, its interesting that they are looking for status as back as 1998 and not from the last entry ...

For more than a decade of congressional majority and 6 years of white house, everyone has been accusing Republicans of being close to big business.
Isnt the big business supposed to remove roadblocks like Sensenbrenner?
Where is the evil greedy Big Business when you really need them? Or are they interested in Status Quo too?
Has anyone seen the movie "Fight club"? Do you really want to mess with people who cook your meals, who do your dishes, clean your restrooms, mop your floors, park your cars, pack your meat, build your houses? (Ok, I am kidding) But just because these guys work at near minimum wage levels does not mean they are not important. Who is going to pick lettuce and tomatoes from farmland? Kind of people like the cast of "OC" isnt going to do it. The cast of "Friends"? I dont think Rachel and Ross would pick potatoes.
So what does Sensenbrenner suggest - "Illegal immigrants drive down wages and get exploited. Now that we are done exploiting them, can we send them back?".
