No problem Sobers, it is interesting to note the links between the Center of Immigration Studies (often cited by many anti-immigrationists) and one of these groups. What is indeed interesting is how some legislators maintain close ties with these organizations, some of whose activities as outlined by the SPLC are indeed shameful.

Client lawyers have advised against it. So vendor can't do anything. I'm still trying to see if they can fax it directly to the consulate or send it in seal envelope to them

I came to know about my interview from the embassy web site and they send us pakage 4 also. Then we informed them by mail asking to postpond for 3 month. They confirmed the same. I am in India embassy is in New Delhi

Please be careful before replying. If you do not know, don't answer.
I have seen numerous posts that say, you can get a 3 yrs H-1 based on your previous company's I-140. (of course, it should not have been revoked). This is based on peoples experience. So don't confuse other people if you are not sure.
You cannot port your I-140 to the new company. So, your H1B will also get affected as it extn is based on the underlying I-140. The only way you can accomplish moving to company B is by filing for I-485 while still at Company A (if your dates are current), wait for 6 months and then, use the AC21 provision.
This is just my view. There might be better ways but, that is the only one I can think right now.

I am a June filer (2003 PD)... My GC was approved in Sept 07. My wifes is still pending. Send application on the same day, FP done together etc... Go figure!:rolleyes:
Sept 07! Did you enquire with them as you should now be eligible to ask them since its already sixty days have past since you got your GC!

I don't think it's going to work again plus its only going to annoy people at USCIS as they have to assign someone to accept and trash those flowers.

I would like to make most of the form thread details be accessible to members who had paid at least $100 or enrolled for recursive $20/month. We should make the thread heading very attractive and make it accessible to public. Core members should review all the thread headings, I think they are already doing it now. I can volunteer to this activity. I do have 8 years of experience in studying US immigration law, though I am not a lawyer, with my experience I can be of some guidance.

Provide advertisement (Ad), like we see top, right side and bottom page Ad in hotmail, yahoo etc. Apart from the flash, images Ads, we should also do Google text Ads. Flash Ad could be charged based on the space, number of page hits. Google pays 25 cents per click on the hyperlink for the text Ad. I had managed a project, which implemented the feature. I am sure we have lot of technical experts and get this implemented, very well.
Corporate Sponsorship
If a corporation sponsors money then most probably there will be some tax advantage. I do know IV�s tax code. Consulting companies could pay IV from our company account.
Physicians
We can identify all our physician members and provide help for members and their parents in need. In turn the members who had taken help could contribute to IV�s good cause, in terms of funds, taking part in activities, etc. Hi the concept is very simple, if you had gone to a doctor, you will end up spending 2 hr waiting to see the doctor and then pay 150 to talk to them for 15 min. We will help you and intern you help us, or may be help yourself if you are a person going through the GC process. I can take initiative for this task, my wife is a physician and I know 20 other doctors who are in the GC process.

You can go visit India after your AP has been applied for, and you can ask your lawyer ( if you are using one ) to send the docs to you in India , so that you can come back with the new approved AP, off course you can't enter USA on an expired AP.
My lawyer has confirmed that one is only required to be present in the USA when applying and it's recommended that one is in US when it's approved, but due to the varying time USCIS is taking to process AP applications that is not a requirement and they can forward the documents to someone not in US.

We have the same case. Our AP's (mine, my wife's and daughter's) are expiring next month. Fortunately, I have a close friend and an immigration attorney.
He said that it is not mandatory to renew the APs. Unless to you wanted to travel outside of the US, then you will need to renew your APs. If they are expired, you need to apply for a new one.
Three of us are paroled.
He also explained that it will not affect your AOS.

some 15-25 yrs back this used to be possible. I know of someone whos mom was air-hostess, and delivered the baby here and all of the family members got GC based on that baby.
But they closed this loophole sometime back.

I have a similar issue, Applied for a EAD that is expiring in Sep08 on June10th08, Got EAD approved from NSC on July7th and saw that the new EAD Card is valid from 01/01/08 to 01/01/09, so in effect its extended by 4 months.
Planning to call NSC to see what I can do,
Ok, so it maynot be neccessarily be a typographical error as i thought, unless all the cards that have been approved on july 7th had this erro. pls let me know what you find. Usually7 level1 officers have no info..so try to see if u can reach a level3 customer officer..i will contact uscis again this afternoon and will post the outcome.
