I may sound some what negative here but I am not trying to diminish the IV plat form for all the folks here.Yes, it is just "about us" only... what "IV core" did so far is vague....flower campaign and this current FOIA requests started randomly by the individuals thinking collectively.... I don't think it is started by IV core team as an "ACTION" item in the first place.

Today i added my old H1B (2003) case to my portfolio..i saw LUD on it...LUD date is '14th july 2007'...not sure...14th july is saturday...but no surprise...i saw lot of people posted that their LUD was on weekends....Is it good indication? sorry if i am asking unnecessary question..

Hi Everybody
I'm almost at checkout for sending flowers. Interestingly I noticed that there are other forums where people are discussing the immigration issues and also where people are effected.
Lets make it a massive campaign. We can have a link on the immigration voice home page with exact details on the address and date (final) and impress on people that it shall work.
I noticed that many Chinese use other forums in Chinese language. In fact I requested one of friends to post these details in their forum as well. May be each one of us can forward the details to others by E-mail or other wise. Try to make 10th July as big day for USCIS leaving all document packages aside but busy handling the roses.
Media would definitely be happy discussing the approach for days and in way discuss the issue as well.
Flowers do bring smile and a little bit of introspection to every one.
Lets do it big way.

I have recently been talking to members who have already filed I485 and have used AC21 to change jobs. I noted some limitations people face while changing jobs, getting higher salaries, making use of AC21 for changing more than 1 job.. etc etc.
It seems there is lack of information on this subject. Let us use this thread to
- share expeiences

AFAIK there is no "more than 1 job change" regulation. You can change as many times as you want.
There is no need to inform INS. If you wish to be _extra_ safe you may, but be aware that "any information you provide will be used against you". Don't try to be more patriotic than the king.

Hello all,
My I-485 and EAD applications were delivered on July 18th at the TSC. Since then, I have not heard from USCIS until this evening, when to my delight, I received the EAD card in my mailbox!
May I know if the EAD receipt # is the same as the I-485 receipt number? I tried to check my case status online with the receipt # on my EAD card but the only information I could see was for Form I-765. Could somebody please clarify this?

Also, she issued her own firm's checks to USCIS for the filing of these documents so I don't know if the checks were cashed (and therefore, cannot check for the receipt notice on the back of the check). I intend to call her t'row.

I was getting excited coz seeing july 24 filers getting theirs and then i read your post :( Mine was received at NSC by same guy on July 30 11:23 a.m. But then again...it's uscis so i might just get it even the earlier filers right? ;)

I have a feeling that the restrictionists may seek to attach HR 6283 along with the SKIL Bill to any appropriations bill...the restrionists have long been trying to cut family immigration (which they call chain migration)..what do you think?

Just reading this thread, so not sure if I can attend today.
Will surely attend the rally with my wife on July14th.
Just a thought..Why not request all our GC/citizen friends to also attend?
I will persuade all my friends to attend.

I have a unique position. couple of weeks back I was told that have fatal cancer and won't live pass 4-6 months. After recovering from initial shock I am wondering if my wife will be able to continue her american dream or she will have to head home after me.
I have filed 485 with approved 140 back in june, 2007 with PD of March, 2003

We are making great progress on this and glad to see tonnes of positive responses. For the people who are viewing this thread first time, please send your name, e-mail, ph number and the amount you are willing to contribute ( in case of a lawsuit ) to man-woman-and-gc who is graciously collecting information for us and adding them in the below spreadsheet.
